Inspired by the 'ambient house' movement of the early '90s, Heff-Ra began his DJ career in college radio, transmitting musical experiments from 'The Event Horizon.' Late night broadcasts soon evolved, blossoming into parties around the state of Texas. This trend eventually led to a long-term residency at 'Generation Next,' a series of parties that helped define the scene.
Heff-Ra found some additional success spinning with the 'Just Don't Stop' crew and has continued that tradition for over a decade, mixing an eclectic blend that sets the standard for each production. His collection of original works, known as 'Heffa Nice Day' is an uncompromising series of soundscapes designed to tickle your consciousness and stimulate your sensibilities.
He has graced the stages of SXSW, played parties for the good folks at Apple and inspired the performers of Cirque du Soleil. All while remaining in touch with your needs…
